Join us on June 25th for our general meeting of the Commercial Network of the Long Island Board of Realtors.
We generally have 35-45 commercial agents, brokers sponsors and guests each month.
We meet the 4th Tuesday of every month except October and December when the meetings are held the 3rd week of the month. We don’t meet in January but we do celebrate the new year with an evening event which is at no additional cost to those members who’ve joined for the year, prior to the event.
Our general meeting agenda begins with open networking from 8am-8:30am. During this time members register and pay. Credit or debit cards are the only acceptable form of payment. Cash and check can not be accepted. Everyone is welcome although only active LIBOR members may join as a member and receive member benefits. Non-libor members and the public are welcome. The cost for non-members and guests is $25.00
From 8:30 until 8:50 we take care of the general meeting reviewing the previous weeks activity for commercial agents and brokers as well as inform members of the general committee activity and progress on our various agenda items.
We then introduce our speaker for the day. It’s always a topic of interest to commercial practitioners. Our focus lately has been on helping members expand their business through partnerships with local government as well as being able to help property owners with various opportunities to improve their property or their return on their investment. Generally we strive to provide educational items of interest that will help our members enhance their value to their clients and customers. This is a key factor in helping to attract and retain clients.
We conclude our meeting with our extremely popular property Haves & Wants wherein members can tell the group about their business and the properties their clients either have for sale or the properties they want to buy or lease.
This is a business meeting. There are no sales pitches for members to buy products or services.
Whether your a seasoned agent/broker or someone just starting out and you want to learn more about being a Dual Practitioner (one that services both commercial and residential clients and customers), you are welcome in our group.
